بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
बिस्मिल्लाहिर-रहमानिर-रहीम
“मैं अल्लाह के नाम से शुरू करता हूँ, जो अत्यंत कृपाशील, असीम दयालु है।”
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
अल्हम्दु लिल्लाहि रब्बिल आलमीन
“सारी प्रशंसा अल्लाह के लिए है, जो सारे संसारों का पालनहार है।”
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
अर-रहमानिर-रहीम
“वह अत्यंत कृपाशील और दयालु है।”
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
मालिकि यौमिद्दीन
“जो बदले (इनाम और सज़ा) के दिन (क़यामत) का मालिक है।”
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
इय्याका नअबुदु व इय्याका नस्तईन
“हम केवल तेरी ही इबादत (उपासना) करते हैं और तुझी से मदद मांगते हैं।”
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
इहदिनास्सिरातल मुस्तक़ीम
“हमें सीधा रास्ता दिखा।”
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
सिरातल्लज़ीना अनअमता अलैहिम ग़य्रिल मग़दूबे अलैहिम वलद्दाल्लीन
“उनका रास्ता जिन पर तूने इनाम किया, न कि उनका जिन पर तेरा क्रोध हुआ और न ही उनका जो गुमराह हो गए।”
